SKIN RESURFACING

WHAT IS SKIN RESURFACING?

Skin abnormalities on the face and elsewhere on the body can be caused by the sun, skin conditions, age, and even inheritance. Textural irregularities such as wrinkles and acne scars, as well as pigmentation changes such as freckles, sunspots, or visible blood vessels, are examples of this. Furthermore, skin may lose tone, feel less firm, and lose the healthy glow of younger skin.

To treat the various components of skin damage, various therapy methods are available.

Fine lines and wrinkles on the entire face, as well as those that develop in specific areas of the face, such as the upper lip and around the eyes, can be improved using laser resurfacing, mechanical resurfacing, chemical peels, and injectable treatments. These treatments can also be used to treat pigmentation issues including sun and age spots, as well as to improve the appearance of acne scars and other skin conditions.

WHAT TREATMENT IS RIGHT FOR ME?

There are many options to choose from and everyone's skin is different, so it's always important to speak with a professional.

We currently carry both the xeo and Secret RF devices from Cutera, which, through advanced laser treatments like Laser Genesis and radio frequency microneedling respectively, can help reduce wrinkles, tighten skin, and make skin appear more youthful. We also carry DiamondGlow, a powerful treatment that exfoliates the skin while simultaneously delivering potent serums to the pores.

Call us for a consultation to see if any of these treatments are right for you.

WHAT IS LASER GENESIS?

Laser genesis is a non-invasive process in which a laser is used to gently heat the skin, resulting in the development of new skin cells and collagen. The procedure is safe and has minimal side effects, the most common side effects being redness and slight swelling.

To perform the Laser Genesis procedure, we currently carry the xeo device from Cutera.

HOW LONG DOES LASER GENESIS TAKE?

Often referred to as a "lunch break procedure," Laser Genesis only takes about half an hour and requires no recovery time, so patients can walk out the door and go on with their day.

HOW SOON CAN I SEE RESULTS?

While results always vary from person to person, nearly all patients se brighter and more youthful looking skin after just one session. For best results, 3 to 6 treatments are recommended.
