VASCULAR LESION TREATMENT
WHAT ARE VASCULAR LESIONS?
Vascular lesions, often known as birthmarks, are relatively common anomalies of the skin and underlying tissues. Hemangiomas, Vascular Malformations (port wine stains), and Pyogenic Granulomas are the three major types of vascular lesions. While these birthmarks may appear identical at times, they differ in terms of cause and the treatment required.
HOW DO YOUÂ TREAT VASCULAR LESIONS?
We employ lasers to generate high-intensity light that can be utilized to selectively heat blood arteries. A variety of machines can be employed, however their effectiveness and adverse effects will differ depending on the individual. Lasers have the advantage of being able to target the blood vessel while keeping the surrounding tissue unharmed. As a result, scarring is exceedingly unlikely. Currently, we carry the highly advanced xeo and excel HR devices from Cutera.
