Achieve Real Weight Loss at PM Aesthetics

Learn how PeachyMed goes above and beyond to help you achieve your weight loss goals.

Are you tired of struggling with your weight and searching for a safe and effective solution? Look no further! PM Aesthetics, your trusted healthcare provider in Bedford, NH, is excited to introduce our revolutionary weight loss program featuring Ozempic, alongside cutting-edge body contouring technologies—the truSculpt and truFlex by Cutera.

Why choose PM Aesthetics' weight loss membership?

We're glad you asked! Here's what sets us apart:

Safer and More Efficacious Solution with Ozempic

Unlike clinics that use compound pharmacies to create semaglutide, our program exclusively prescribes the genuine brand name Ozempic. By doing so, we prioritize your safety and well-being. Compound pharmacies may compromise on quality, leading to potential health risks or inadequate results. With PM Aesthetics, you can have peace of mind knowing that your weight loss journey is supported by a reliable and proven medication.

Insurance Coverage Assistance

We understand the financial concerns associated with healthcare. That's why PM Aesthetics goes the extra mile to work with your insurance provider, ensuring that you receive the necessary coverage for your Ozempic prescription. Our goal is to make our program accessible and affordable for all individuals seeking sustainable weight loss.

Rigorous Patient Screenings

At PM Aesthetics, we prioritize your health and personalize our approach. Our dedicated team conducts comprehensive screenings to determine whether Ozempic is the appropriate choice for you. By considering your medical history, current health status, and individual needs, we ensure that our weight loss program is safe and suitable for your unique circumstances.

Advanced Body Contouring Technologies

As part of our comprehensive program, we incorporate state-of-the-art body contouring technologies—the TruSculpt by Cutera and the TruFlex by Cutera. These innovative treatments enable us to target specific areas, sculpt your body, and enhance your overall results. With PM Aesthetics, you can achieve the body you've always desired, complementing your weight loss journey.

Policy

Clinical and Medical Policy for Weight Loss Membership at PM Aesthetics

Our goal is to provide you with safe and effective weight loss treatments. We have certain policies and procedures in place to ensure your well-being throughout the program. Let's go through the key points:

Who Can Assess and Treat You?

A licensed Physician, Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA-C) will evaluate and treat you with medications called Ozempic or Wegovy, following our guidelines.

Examination Before Medication

Before prescribing Ozempic or Wegovy, the medical provider will conduct a thorough examination to ensure your suitability for the treatment.

Combination Therapy

If you're interested in using medication to assist your weight loss journey, you must also complete either one session of TruSculpt or four sessions of TruFlex at Peachymed. A good faith examination by the medical provider is required before any TruSculpt or TruFlex procedure.

Treatment Settings

Medication can be prescribed and administered at our designated Peachymed clinic locations. We strictly adhere to safety policies and procedures outlined in our manual.

Adverse Reactions and Contraindications

Any side effects or adverse reactions experienced during or after treatment must be documented in your chart. We do not treat patients who have active cancer treatment, a history of pancreatitis, are pregnant, have had gastric bypass surgery within the last two years, or have known hypersensitivity to the medication ingredients.

Medication-Assisted Weight Loss Treatment Plan: Here's an Overview of the Treatment Process

  1. Full consultation: You'll have a comprehensive consultation with a medical provider to assess your medical history, family history, vitals (including BMI), and body measurements.

  2. Lab work: Prior to prescribing medication, you'll undergo various lab tests, including a complete blood count, comprehensive metabolic panel, thyroid stimulating hormone, insulin, and hemoglobin A1C.

  3. Informed consent: After passing the medical screening, you'll receive detailed information about the risks, benefits, and potential adverse reactions of the medication. You'll need to provide your preferred pharmacy for prescription fulfillment.

  4. Follow-up appointments: You'll be required to attend regular follow-up appointments with a medical provider. Initially, you'll have appointments every two weeks for the first month, then monthly for months 2-4. Follow-up beyond month 4 will be personalized based on your provider's recommendations.

  5. Medication dosing: The dosage of the medication will be adjusted over time, starting at 0.25 mg once weekly and gradually increasing to 2.4 mg once weekly, based on your provider's assessment.

TruSculpt and TruFlex Procedures

These treatments complement the medication-assisted weight loss program. Here are the key points:

  1. Contraindications: Patients with certain conditions such as cardiac pacemakers, significant autoimmune or neurological diseases, pregnancy or breastfeeding, allergy to gel pads, acute fractures, or hernias over the treatment area will be denied treatment.

  2. Medical screening and consent: Similar to the medication treatment, you'll undergo a medical screening, informed of the risks and benefits, and provide consent. Your weight and waist measurements will be documented before treatment.

  3. Procedure details: The treatment area will be prepared, appropriate treatment pads will be applied, and the treatment intensity will be adjusted based on your tolerability. The provider will be present throughout the treatment to ensure your comfort.

  4. Post-care instructions: After the procedure, you'll be provided with written and verbal post-care instructions, including contact information for Peachymed's daytime and after-hours support.

Follow-up and Record Keeping

A personalized follow-up schedule will be determined based on your treatment plan. The medical provider will maintain detailed records of your treatment, including assessments, signed consent forms, treatment details, and your response to the treatment.

At Peachymed, your safety and well-being are our top priorities. We hope this overview of our clinical and medical policy for the weight loss program provides you with the necessary information to make informed decisions about your journey towards achieving your desired weight loss goals.
